How It’s Made
Hot rolled steel coil is made after the hot rolling process. Once the desired width and gauge are achieved, the steel is rolled into large coils and then set to cool, awaiting delivery. Pickled and oiled steel coils utilize these coils by cleaning them using a surface cleaner, then pickling, rinsing, and coating in a thin layer of oil. The width of these coils is greater than the thickness.

- Width: 40" to 72"
- Gauge: 16GA to 1.00"
- Grades: Grade 80, Grade 50, A36, CSB, CQ
- Finishes: hot rolled, pickled and oiled
